Aguilar's AG 4J-60 is a set of two single coils designed to produce both clarity and warmth plus reproduce all the dynamics and details of your playing. The sound and construction of this set were modelled after those of the famous J-bass pickups of halfway through the sixties. Consequently, the AG4J-60 is equipped with period-correct components such as heavy Formvar windings, fabric-covered wire and alnico V magnets.

For these pickups, Aguilar developed a patented winding pattern to create balanced volume levels between the strings while retaining a full, articulated tone. The AG 4J-60 is a great addition to any bass guitar and pairs beautifully with Aguilar's on-board preamps like the OPB-3. This calibrated set consists of a neck and a bridge pickup and is a perfect replacement part for 4-string J bass guitars.
